Darts challenge for cancer fund

A 24-hour sponsored charity darts marathon is being held in aid of a cancer charity which has raised more than £40,000.

So far, there are 13 players up for the challenge, all collecting their own sponsorship and if you are interested in joining them, please contact Paul on 07801 334460.

You can also support the players and the charity by popping in any time during the event - £5 donation if it’s after normal trading hours - to contest their darts skills with the cost of £2.50 per game.

Football cards with a cash prize and a raffle will also be going on throughout the event, to generate even more funds.

If you are unable to join in or sponsor any of the individuals, there’s also a justgiving page set up for the team at www.justgiving.com/24hrdartsmarathon

Angela’s research fund celebrated £40,000 last month and funds with The Eve Appeal are already at £44,000.
