A lorry driver suffered serious injuries to his arm when his vehicle came off the road and overturned, landing on its side.
Paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) and Magpas Helimedix attended after the lorry came off the A1 near Roxton on Tuesday afternoon (October 1).
Medics gave the man in his thirties enhanced pain relief before moving him to a land ambulance.
Beds Police and Beds Fire and Rescue also attended.
The man was then taken to Bedford Hospital where he was said to be in a stable condition on arrival.
Dr Nick Scott from Magpas said: “The man was extremely fortunate, given the nature of this incident.”
