Drivers reported by Speed Watch

THE Community Speed Watch scheme in Shefford has enjoyed success in slowing down motorists.

Volunteers have noted the registration numbers of cars which have been recorded speeding and their details have been passed to police.

Drivers have also been seen to slow down during speed checks.

Members of the Community Speed Watch team have found that motorists tend to reduce their speed when they see volunteers at the side of the road.

High speeds have been recorded in Ivel Road and other areas in the town.
