Family to raise awareness at open sale

editorial image

A family will be raising awareness about a rare form of cancer at an open house sale.

Small cell ovarian cancer is one of the most uncommon kinds of cancer but also one of the most aggressive.

A Biggleswade family will be promoting awareness and further research into the disease at the event on Saturday, November 3.

The fundraiser will take place at 11, The Grove, Biggleswade and will include a sale of household items and bric-a-brac.

There will also be a luxury tombola with some grand prizes available, though more are requested.

There will be face painting for children and refreshments.

The family are looking for volunteers who can help out on the day or donate items for sale or money to Cancer Research UK.

The event will run from 10am to 4pm.

For more information contact Linda on 07730 319209.
