A cake-themed photographic art exhibition will be on show during November.
Mama’s Coffee Shop in Sandy will be the venue for the display of work from Potton photographer, Claire Titmus.
The award winning photographer will have a range of pictures on show at the High Street cafe from next Friday (November 1).
While you browse Claire’s work you will be able to help yourself to a steaming cup of coffee and a slice of delicious cake.
Claire grew up in Sandy and moved to Potton 12 years ago with her husband, Stuart. She is often seen out and about taking photos of the local landscape, scenery and wildlife as well as photographing products for local businesses.
An avid photographer, Claire qualified at the start of 2012 and has since won many photography awards with The Guild of Photographers. One of her images was exhibited in Somerset House in London as part of the 2013 Sony World Photography Organisation Exhibition after she won the My UK (East of England region) competition held by Sony and The Metro. Claire finished 5th in the UK out of 12 finalists.
She said: “I am thrilled to be exhibiting a small range of my images in my home town. Choosing to exhibit a few of my cake images and digital word art made sense as the style fits in with the coffee shop theme so well.”
Visitors can meet Claire, of Station Road, at an open evening on Tuesday, November 19 from 7pm to 9pm. If you would like to attend contact Claire at firstname.lastname@example.org in advance.
