Fun filled days at the reserve

Fans of the RSPB can enjoy a walk around the outskirts of a quarry or take part in family activities.

There will be a quarry wander on Sunday (October 14) starting at The Lodge shop on the Sandy reserve.

Stroll around hills and slopes that surround the Lafarge working quarry and search for the wildlife that lives there. It costs £4 for adults, £3 for RSPB members and children and £2 for RSPB Wildlife Explorers.

The on Saturday, October 20 and Sunday, October 21 go along to the Falling Leaves Open Weekend at The Lodge. Family activities include face painting, badge making and bird ringing demonstrations.
