Fundraisers to help aid education in Kenya

A Bigglewade man who is helping people in poor areas of Kenya is holding two fundraising events.

Luke Newman will be hosting a DJ night at the White Hart tonight, Friday, May 20, from 9pm to 1am.

The Mash Up Mix Night #2 is the theme, which involves taking elements of two or more pre-existing pieces of music and combining them to make a new song.

Tickets are £3 each and available from the White Hart.

On Sunday, May 22, Luke will be hosting a Gifts For All Occasions Craft Fair #5 at The Weatherley Centre, with stalls, a raffle and refreshments, with a guest appearance. Admission is free.

The events are in aid of Luke’s humanitarian journey to one of the poorest suburbs of Nakuru, Kenya, to help three schools in need of support and hundreds of children who need a better education.

Luke is setting off on his third humanitarian journey to Kenya on Saturday, May 28.
