Giving thanks for the food they eat

Pupils celebrated the bringing in of the harvest with a church service.

Children in all years at Robert Peel Lower School in Sandy went to Sandy Baptist Church on Thursday, October 11.

Reverend Beth Powney took part of the service and then there were harvest songs and readings by the pupils. Parents also attended the service.

The youngsters brought in food, which was given to The Need Project. The project is run by Kings Baptist Church in Stotfold.

The food, which the children gave in generous quantities, will be donated to needy local families.
