Two choirs raised more than £700 for good causes.
Harmony Youth Choir of Biggleswade and The Moonlighters of Tempsford gave a concert at St Andrew’s Church in Biggleswade on Saturday. They brought in £714, to be split between the church’s clock renovation fund and St John’s Hospice in Moggerhanger.
The concert was very well attended by a mixed audience who were given a very varied and enjoyable programme.
The music ranged from medieval music to contemporary; from barbershop to musical and film music and was well received by everyone.
The Moonlighters rehearse on Monday evenings from 8pm to 10pm at The Chapel in Tempsford. Harmony Youth Choir is a choir for young people between eight and 18 years old. The choir rehearses on Thursday afternoons from 4pm to 5.30pm at St Andrew’s Church in Biggleswade. Both choirs welcome new members.
