Vote for Sandy stunner in magazine's annual competition
Sandy stunner Hayley Sams has taken a big step towards her dream modelling career by reaching the final stages of a popular magazine contest.
The 22-year-old beat off stiff competition from more than 13,000 girls to make it into lads' mag FHM's High Street Honeys 2009 competition.
Hayley, who lives in Swansholme Gardens, is one of just 100 lovely ladies chosen to feature in the magazine's latest edition and compete for the 10,000 first prize.
She was invited for an interview at FHM's offices in London after sending her photos to the High Street Honeys competition a month ago.
And after chatting to a panel of judges she received a phone call to say she had made it into the final 100.
"I was shocked when FHM called me to say I had been chosen," said Hayley, who studied graphic design at Bedford College.
"But I was really pleased because it's a tough competition and a lot of girls enter into it every year."
She added: "I entered High Street Honeys because FHM is one of the best lads' mags around, and girls who have done well in the competition before have gone on to even better things.
"I don't know how I'll do but I'm trying to bug all my friends to vote for me!"
Hayley, who works as a barmaid at Wyboston Lakes, was crowned Miss Bedfordshire 2008 in May and was recently featured in The Sun newspaper after signing up to celebrity model Danielle Lloyd's modelling agency.
She said: "It's going very well with Danielle's agency, Irresistible Talent, and hopefully it will really push my career on because she has a lot of good contacts in the industry.
"But I would love to get into the final ten of High Street Honeys because a photoshoot with FHM would be amazing!"
The contest will be decided by a public vote, which opened online on October 30 and runs until November 27.
