The next meeting of Sandy Good Afternoon Club will be on Friday, July 4 at 2.15pm in the meeting room at Sandy Library.
Dorothy Jamieson and Mervyn Askew will be giving an illustrated talk about Willington.
Both Dorothy and Mervyn are founding members and active members of Willington Local History Group and also long-term National Trust volunteers.
Willington sits quietly south of the Ouse, with most of the village north of the road from Sandy to Bedford but evidence of its interesting history has been found in the landscape, its buildings and in original documents.
Dorothy and Mervyn look forward to sharing with us some of what they have discovered.
Meetings are open to everyone. Admission is £1 which includes refreshments.
