Youngsters at a lower school had the chance to meet a variety of different animals.
On Monday, January 27 the children at Sutton Lower School were thrilled to be visited by the people and creatures from Zoolab.
The school’s guests included such animals as a snake, a rat and a tarantula.
Headteacher Sarah Stevens said: “This term the children in the school have been learning all about animals and rainforests and so to meet some of these fantastic animals really bought their learning to life.
“Since the visit the children have been writing poetry, singing songs, painting animals and otherwise researching other places in the world where these creatures may live.”
