Jeremy lands TV job with Disney

Talented young actor wins part in Disney Channel series

Stardom beckons for one talented young actor who is set to appear on millions of TV screens after winning a part in a hit Disney show.

Jeremy Irvine, aged 19, of Church Street in Gamlingay, will be appearing in the second season of the hit Disney Channel show Life Bites.

He plays new character Luke – the best mate of central characters Harvey and Frank.

Although he has appeared on stage and in numerous independent films and commercials, this is Jeremy's first TV role.

He said: "This is my first proper TV job, which is really exciting and a great introduction to TV work. Obviously getting any sort of acting

work is incredibly difficult and a lot of it comes down to luck and being in the right place at the right time, so getting something with such a big brand as Disney is amazing."

The show, which drew audiences of more than two million during its first

series, brings to life the everyday adventures of a brother and sister, and their relationships with family and friends through short, funny

sketches.

Jeremy started acting at school, before going on to join the National

Youth Theatre and winning a place at the London Academy Of Music And

Dramatic Art.

And since filming the show, which is back on TV screens on Saturday, July 11, he has been attending more auditions, and hopes to appear in films in the future.
