A frequent community fundraiser will be skydiving for charity once again this October.
Ken Lynch of Pyms Way in Sandy will raise money for Canine Partners as well as Breakthrough Breast Cancer. The latter is Central Beds Council chairman Councillor Caroline Maudlin’s charity of the year.
Ken, 76, has already done several charity skydives since his first at the age of 70, raising money for such causes as Help For Heroes, Sandy Skatepark and the Royal British Legion.
Canine Partners is a national charity that trains assistance dogs for both civilians and members of the armed forces with physical disabilities. They help with everyday tasks such as opening doors as well as increasing independence.
