A former Biggleswade schoolboy turned celebrity chef is set to launch a new book.
Justin Brown, has worked with the likes of Jamie Oliver and Ronnie Wood from the Rolling Stones, and has cooked for celebrities including the Beckhams and pop star Madonna, is releasing his first ever cookery book in September.
Although he now lives in Berkshire, Justin grew up in Biggleswade, attending St Andrew’s Lower, Edward Peak and Stratton Upper schools.
Now he is set to embark on a book tour, and hopes to include Biggleswade in the places he visits.
Justin, who is an award-winning chef, said: “I am starting a book tour in September at various cooking shows and book signings, with many radio and TV appearances also lined up, I will be in Brighton, all over Berkshire and I plan to do something in Biggleswade, the reason being is that this is my home town where it all began. My parents still live in Ickwell and all my friends are still in Biggleswade so I visit regularly.”
The book is all about hosting the perfect dinner party, with recipes and tricks of the trade to make life easier.
He added: “I’d had the idea for this book for some time. My friends and family are always hosting gatherings and often ask me for ideas and recipes – so this is as much for them as anyone else, it’ll give me a bit of peace.”
