Language school receives top marks

Students and staff at BLS language school. The language school has received the highest grading from the schools inspectorate.

Students and staff from the Bury St Edmunds language school BLS English celebrate after it received top marks from the Independent Schools Inspectorate.

It was rated ‘exceeding expectations’ in all areas and the ISI report says: “The school exceeds expectations for the curriculum, teaching and learners.”

BLS English’s teachers were described as ‘knowledgeable and highly skilled.”

After visiting some of the private homes BLS foreign students stay in, the inspectors added: “The standard of homestay accommodation is exceptionally good.”

School principal Ben Logan said: “ISI also inspects schools such as Eton and Harrow, so to receive perfect scores is an amazing achievement for the BLS English team.”
