Man hit by train identified

THE man killed on the railway line on Friday has been identified as Jamie Reynolds.

The 22-year-old was struck in the vicinity of Lindells crossing, just north of Biggleswade.

Jamie, who lived in Pegasus Court in Biggleswade, suffered severe multiple injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The incident occurred shortly after 2pm on Friday (April 15) when he was hit by the 1.35pm East Coast train from Kings Cross to Leeds.

Bedfordshire Police, the British Transport Police, paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service and the Magpas Helimedix air ambulance all attended the scene.
