Man stabbed in late night town centre attarck
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously assaulted in Biggleswade in the early hours of Sunday morning (26 June).
The man was in the High Street at approximately 1.15am when he was hit over the head and stabbed by two white men, who are believed to be around 20 years old.
Detective Constable Olyver Tomlinson, investigating, said: “This was a nasty and vicious assault and it was fortunate that the victim did not sustain serious injuries. It’s likely that the town centre was busy at this time with people heading home after a night out, so I’m appealing for anyone who might have witnessed this attack to get in touch.”
