Man hospitalised after road crash

Ambulance crews called to road accident near Biggleswade Hospital

A man is in hospital following a road traffic collision this morning.(Thursday, March 4).

The East of England Ambulance Service were called to Potton Road in Biggleswade at 11.28am.

The original 999 call was to a motorbike in collision with a car. An ambulance and a fast response car from Biggleswade attended the scene.

Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: "A man who we believe to be in his 60s received injuries to his leg and hand.

"Paramedics stabilised him at the roadside before he was taken to Bedford hospital."
