Mayor launches new business organisation

A town mayor has invited businessmen and women to embrace a new movement.

Shefford mayor Paul Mackin and other volunteers have launched Shefford Open 4 Business, which aims to provide help and support for the business community in the town.

He said: “We are keen for business people to become involved as well.”

Forums are held at the Shefford House council offices in the High Street and the Federation of Small Businesses will be at the next event.
