A young cook triumphed against her fellow pupils.
Six Year Eight finalists reached the final of the Rotary Club Young Chef Competition at Etonbury Academy.
Millie Mason took the first prize, beating Jakye Smith who came in a close second. She then went on to win the regional final at North Herts College on Saturday, February 15.
Millie was the youngest in the regional final and the head chef said there was little he could fault her on.
She will now go through to the next round, which will be held at the College of Westminster in London on Saturday, March 15.
