MP Burt backs new campaign to support Bedfordshire charities

North-East Beds MP Alistair Burt is supporting the new Back Britain’s Charities campaign.
Back Britain’s Charities is highlighting the uncertain future many charitable organisations face due to limited cash reserves and financial pressures.
Mr Burt is urging extra support for good causes in Chronicle Country and Bedfordshire as a whole.
He said: “As a patron for many charities in the county such as Carers in Bedfordshire I would definitely encourage others to get behind our local charities.
“The recent campaign to Back Britain’s Charities is something we should all get behind in some way.
“Residents may wish to start contributing to the work of charities in North East Beds financially or through volunteering and giving up personal time to help.”
