Mum left shaken after car attack

Man in distinctive BMW tried to grab Polish woman

A young mother was left shaken and scared after a man tried to bundle her into his distinctive BMW as she and her baby headed to shops in Luton.

At around 4.15pm on August 23, a white Polish woman was walking on Bishopscote Road with a pushchair containing her one-year-old daughter when a dark blue BMW stopped alongside her.

The car kept following her, even after she crossed the road and headed home.

As she turned into Bristol Road, the driver reached out of the window, grabbed her arm and tried pulling her towards the car but she managed to break free. The vehicle then turned left into Blundell road and drove away.

The driver is described as a 30-year-old Asian male with black spiky hair and a neatly trimmed, jaw-line beard.

The car was a shiny, metallic, deep-blue colour and possibly was a 3-door. It had a distinctive shark fin on the roof at the rear - a solid structure that holds the aerial.
