New police appeal after theft from warehouse

Bedfordshire Police have renewed their appeal for information about stolen baby safety and travel products.

A man has been arrested in connection with the theft, where £10,000 worth of iCandy baby strollers were taken from a distribution centre in Biggleswade.

The Stratton Business Park warehouse was broken into in April and since then officers have been on the trail of the stolen items.

After one was recovered in Ruislip, Middlesex PC Matthew Bond is appealing to anyone who may have seen any of the equipment on sale.

He said: “The burglary did a significant amount of damage to the warehouse and obviously we want to catch those who did this.”

Anyone with any information relating to the theft can contact PC Bond at Bedfordshire Police, on the non-emergency number 101, or text information direct to the police on 07786 200011.
