Northill plays the blues!
Music festival returns to village on Saturday
Northill will not be its quiet self this Saturday, as the Northill Blues Festival swings into action!
Blues bands appearing at this delightful event include 3AM, Moondogs, Cherry Lee Mewis and also Paul Garner.
3AM are dedicated to bringing quality blues based rock to you. Moondogs are a contemporary modern blues band with a reputation for astounding festival performances, including the recent WOMAD festival at Reading.
Cherry Lee Mewis is the real deal, she adds her own fresh perspective to blues 'n' roots music with her album, Little Girl Blue, a mixture of forgotten, obscure blues tracks.
This festival is catering for the whole family.
There will be children's entertainment such as bouncy castles, sideshows, and much more
.
The team from The Crown pub in Northill will be running a beer tent with a selection of fine ales and soft drinks. A hog roast, burgers, sausages, cakes and sweets, tea and coffee will also be available on the day.
Tickets are priced at 17.50 per person aged over 14, with accompanied children 14 and under getting in for just 1.
Free on-site parking is included in the ticket.
However, there will be no tickets on sale on the day so to bag yours you must call 07796 328 855 now or email roadnightm@aol.com
