Pick up a pancake for racing contest

DESSERT related talents will be unveiled at a village’s Jubilee Pancake Race.

The event will be held on Ickwell Green this Sunday (February 19). It starts at 11.30am with the first race at 12.30pm. This year there will be a red, white and blue theme. Pam Rhodes will award the medals.

There will be three-legged races, women’s and men’s races, children’s races by age and parent and child races. There will also be a pancake lobbing contest, a decorated pan competition and refreshments.
