Pitch fever over Galdiator's visit
Gladiator Doom will be guest refereeing an under eight's football team this weekend.
The TV star from the hit television show will be attending a football match of the Mid Beds Tigers under eights team on Sunday at Sandye Place Middle School in Sandy.
One of the parents is a close friend of the star and he invited him to the game.
Vice chairman Neil Croucher said: "It was just through a chance conversation really. One of the dads invited him down and suggested that he referee a game and he agreed.
"All the children are really excited because they've seen him on television.
"We're all really pleased that he has agreed to be out guest referee, it will be great for the children.
Doom will arrive at about noon on Sunday and will referee the game and
talk to the children afterwards.
