Musicians are hoping to meet new members at an open rehearsal.

East Beds Concert Band, which rehearses at Stratton Upper School in Biggleswade, is holding the open rehearsal on Monday, October 15.

Anyone who plays a woodwind, brass or percussion instrument is invited to go along and try the band out.

Ability levels range from grade three to grade eight plus and people of all ages are welcome. There are no auditions.

The rehearsal starts at 7.15pm in the school hall. The band meets every Monday evening in term time so anyone who cannot make the 15th can just turn up on another date.

The music chosen varies in standard to accommodate all members and includes classical pieces, arrangements of popular songs and television music.

Concerts are usually held three times a year at the end of each school term.
