Police hunt armed robber

Man makes off with cash from Marsh Farm store

Police are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery in Marsh Farm in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The incident happened shortly after 7am at the Nisa Superstore in Axe Close when a man approached a cashier with a knife and demanded cash.

Fortunately the cashier was unharmed and the man made off with cash on foot towards the Purley Centre.

The offender is described as a black man in his early 20s and wearing a dark grey hooded top and dark trousers.
