Pupils took a trip back in time as they enjoyed a history day.
Year Three and Four children at Roecroft Lower School in Stotfold took part in a fossil hunt and quiz and were able to interact with museum models and dinosaur artefacts.
They also made an evolution timeline from the beginnings of time to the present day.
All of the activities were completed under the watchful eye of Graham Woollard, a palaeontologist from the Portals to the Past organisation.
Portals to the Past lay on earth science and history workshops at schools, and Graham has discovered a species of fossil that has been named after him – the penaphis woollardii.
He has now been putting on workshops at schools for more than 20 years.
