Youngsters are being given the skills to equip them for life from their very earliest years at school.
The Reception pupils at Caldecote Lower School in Upper Caldecote were in for a delicious treat on Wednesday (February 5).
They improved their cooking talents by making their own hot lunch.
And because the children are learning about dinosaurs this term the meal had a dinosaur theme.
Pupils also listened to the story, Dinosaurs and All That Rubbish.
Prior to the meal the children helped with preparing the meal by writing a shopping list. They also peeled and chopped the potatoes.
