Children at a lower school learned about the Second World War during a special themed day.
The pupils at Caldecote Lower School wore dress from the period to school on Wednesday (September 11).
Special guest Andrew Spooner also visited the school to talk to the children about the war.
He gave a presentation to youngsters and also brought artefacts and items of note from the time to show to the children.
A spokesman for the school said: “It was a fascinating day and the children learned a great deal.
“Andrew talked to the pupils at length about the war and what it would have been like for people who lived during the conflict.
“It was inspirational for everyone.”
