A house building company entertained schoolchildren with a special storytelling event.

Twelve pupils from St Andrew’s Lower School in Biggleswade visited the town’s new Saxon Fields development to hear Taylor Wimpey’s sales executive, Tamara Sim, read the classic children’s book, The Tiger Who Came To Tea.

The company has sponsored Woburn Safari Park’s new tiger house, which is now home to endangered Amur tigers, Elton and Minerva.

Christine Scarborough from Taylor Wimpey said: “We hope the pupils from St Andrew’s Lower School enjoyed meeting our mascot Taylor Tiger and that our storytelling session has inspired a new generation to support the conservation efforts of organisations like Woburn.”
