Staff, parents and pupils are celebrating after a lower school took on academy status.
The former All Saints Lower School in Clifton is now known as Clifton All Saints Academy.
A variety of activities were laid on to mark the change, and pupils were asked to produce a new sign for the front of the school.
Two new mosaic signs have also been made and children wrote a special song.
Headteacher Carol Ward said: “At the end of the day, the school, parents, friends and governors came together to share their thoughts and fantastic creations, as well as singing as the new school together for the very first time.
“What a wonderful way to begin the next chapter.”
