See a top skatepark
Teenagers who are interested in seeing a new skatepark in a town can visit a similar facility.
Community stalwart Ken Lynch has organised a coach trip for youngsters from Sandy on Saturday (September 22).
Freestyle Skateparks runs a skatepark in Hemel Hempstead, Herts and is laying on a coach so young skateboarders can visit the attraction and see if they like it.
Ken is currently raising money to help to build a new skatepark in Sandy and he is keen for youngsters to decide how they would like it to look.
Freestyle Skateparks could be the firm that goes on to build the new park.
The 32-seat coach will be departing from outside Ken’s house at 4, Pyms Way, Sandy, and there are still places left.
Anyone who would like to join the trip can contact Ken on 01767 681739.
There will also be future trips to other skateparks around the country that teenagers can sign up for.
