Fancy a takeaway? Soon there will be an extra choice in town.

Domino’s Pizza has announced that it will be opening a store in Shefford High Street early next month.

It will create 30 jobs; a mixture of full and part time positions.

Kerry Lloyd, marketing manager for the forthcoming Shefford store, said: “We are looking forward to opening a new store in Shefford and to employing people who live in the community that we’ll be serving.

“First and foremost we’ll be employing people who can deliver great customer service and demonstrate strong teamwork skills as well as boundless enthusiasm.

“It’s also vital to be able to maintain a sense of fun while working under pressure.”

The company emphasises that is committed to employing people of all ages.

There will be the opportunity for some employees to progress into management positions within two years.

Domino’s promises to recruit from the local area and to develop strong community links. It also supports the children’s charity, Rays of Sunshine.
