Reach for the stars at an astronomical evening.

The RSPB has teamed up with the Bedford Astronomical Society to search for the planets and stars of the night sky.

The event will be held at The Lodge reserve in Sandy on Saturday, March 16.

It will start with short talks by Bedford Astronomical Society and the RSPB.

There will be a chance to use your own equipment to take photos of the night sky with advice and assistance.

If the night is overcast the Bedford Astronomical Society will give a further talk.

It starts at 6pm and continues until late. It costs £5 per adult and £3 per child. Spaces are limited so book and pay in advance from the RSPB on 01767 680541.
