Students inspired by MP’s visit to school
MP Alistair Burt with Year 6 pupils, holding his ministerial box
MP Alistair Burt inspired middle school students on Friday (January 11).
The MP for North East Beds visited Etonbury Academy in Arlesey. Four Year 8 students gave him a tour and showed him the latest improvements. Mr Burt then took an assembly on ‘inspiring.’
Headteacher Al Mistrano said: “Alistair Burt visited the school to help the young people understand that national and international politics rely on young people with the drive necessary to make positive changes to the people around them.
“We expect children at Etonbury to make significant positive changes locally, nationally and internationally and we appreciate Alistair Burt’s willingness to show our children how to make these changes.”
