Supermarket’s staff told to take their pick!

Workers at a supermarket helped to clear up a town as part of a litter picking activity.

Staff from ASDA in Biggleswade tidied up the Chambers Way play area in the town on Thursday last week (September 13).

They also set to work around the Saxon Gate area, as part of the supermarket chain’s nationwide Big Litter Pick.

The store also invited members of the community to help out with the litter pick, and provided hi-visibility vests, gloves and bin liners to the volunteers.

ASDA stores across the country took part in the initiative, which saw staff and volunteers target selected areas of towns and cities around Britain.
