Teen mugged on train

Gang punch boy in unprovoked attack

British Transport Police is appealing for witnesses after a 15-year-old boy was mugged by a gang as he got off a London-bound train at Leagrave railway station.

The incident happened at around 6pm on Monday, February 15, when the teenager was punched in the face and had his mobile phone stolen.

His attackers are described as a group of six black boys and girls in their mid to late teens.

The same group then boarded the train that their victim had just left and, while on board, approached a 28-year-old man and demanded his mobile phone and watch.

The victim was punched in the head by a member of the gang and left with bruising to his right eye.

The group then moved onto another carriage where they were joined by some other youngsters, before they disembarked the train at West Hampstead station in London.
