A young man from Everton has tragically died after the tractor he was driving collided with an underpass.
Harry Christian-Allan, 19, who lived on Sandy Road, was driving on the A1 last Friday when the incident took place at Alconbury.
Emergency services, including Magpas Helimedix, were called to the scene at around 6pm to disover the tractor had collided with the underpass of the flyover bridge.
The East of England Ambulance Service worked hard to free Harry from the tractor before he was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge.
On arrival he was in critical condition and depsite the tireless work of the staff and emergency services it was confirmed Harry had died.
A Magpas spokesperson said: “Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time. It is a very sad time for all involved.”
