Teenager killed in fatal road collision

A teenager was killed when his car hit a tree on Monday (October 8).

The 19-year-old sustained fatal injuries when the blue Renault Clio left the B1042 north-east of Wrestlingworth at around 11.15pm.

Bedfordshire Police have launched a full collision investigation and Bedford Coroner’s Court is due to open an inquest.

The officer in charge of the investigation, PC David Clarke is keen to speak to anyone who saw the car prior to the collision or the collision itself.
