Onions will be automatically stacked onto pallets at a fruit and vegetable suppliers.

Bedfordshire Growers in Biggleswade has completed trials of a new onion palletiser device.

The new automated palletiser can cope with up to 10 tonnes per hour, which not only speeds up the process, but frees manual operators who can now focus on other aspects of the packing line.
