Trading standards seize drop vodka

TRADING standards officers seized 14 bottles of drop vodka across the county.

More than 50 off-licenses were checked.

Councillor Brian Spurr, executive member for sustainable communities services said: “Bogus booze is cheap and often nasty. Drinkers could have been blinded by drinking out of some of the bottles our officers have seized. This council will continue to clamp down on illicit traders as part of our continuing battle to protect consumers and genuine traders.”
