Overall railway passenger satisfaction has risen since 2011.
The results of First Captial Connect’s customer survey in the autumn reveal that 81 per cent of people are satisfied or very satisfied, up by one percent from 2011.
Satisfaction for punctuality was at 81 per cent and journey time satisfaction reached 87 per cent.
The survey revealed 71 per cent for attitudes and helpfulness of staff, 75 per cent for cleanliness of stations and 71 per cent for overall station environment. Personal security was at 72 per cent.
But only 61 per cent said there is enough space to sit or stand and only 33 per cent were happy with how well FCC deals with delays.
