Two hospitalised after road traffic collision in Stotfold
A MAN and a woman have been hospitalised following a road traffic collision yesterday afternoon (Thursday, January 26).
The East of England Ambulance Service (EEAST) was alerted to Stotfold High Street at the junction of Regent Street at 5.05pm.
The call followed a collision between a car and a motorcycle.
Two ambulance crews and a a senior officer from Letchworth station attended.
EEAST spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “The man who was riding the motorcycle received a suspected hip fracture and an arm injury.
“A woman who was driving the car received minor injuries.
“Both were treated and stabilised at the scene by the ambulance crews before they were taken to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage for further care.”
