Values help international talks

Sutton Lower School

Youngsters at a lower school held their own ‘international’ summit talks.

The pupils at Sutton Lower School represented different countries from across the globe including Sweden, Africa, Australia and Spain.

The children prepared for the day by learning about their chosen country at home, selecting a themed outfit for the day and making a flag to bring to school.

Once in school the four to nine-year-olds took part in activities to help them learn more about the values of love and respect as they are often needed between nations. The children made a love book, moulded love hearts from salt dough and created Valentine’s cards. The day finished with a class assembly to share the values with the parents of Ocean class.
