VIDEO: Olympic flag raised in Biggleswade

Youngsters in Biggleswade were part of the Olympic celebrations at the weekend when they marked the handover of the official flag.
Representatives from nine different organisations in the town banded together to parade the London 2012 flag to the Market Square on Sunday, where it was proudly raised.

The celebrations came about after Tracey James, of Biggleswade United FC, was granted one of the limited edition flags to fly.
And instead of keeping it to itself, the club decided to spread the Olympic spirit.
Mid Beds District Council also helped organise the event, with Sports Development staff on hand to hold races for the youngsters.
Participants also created a piece of commemorative artwork, which will be brought out for the London Olympics, by printing their hands on to a large canvas in the colours of the Olympic rings.
