Labour candidate Olly Martins was declared as Bedfordshire’s first Police and Crime Commissioner this afternoon.

Here two of the unsuccessful candidates, independent Mezanur Rashid and British Freedom Party candidate Kevin Carroll give their reactions after going out after first preference votes were counted.
