Want to know more about your council? Just Ask

Central Bedfordshire Council's Just Ask project is heading for Stotfold this weekend to give residents the chance to find out more about social care, health and housing.

Stotfold’s Just Ask session will be held on Saturday, June 25 at the Summer Fete in Stotfold Recreation Ground, Hitchin Road, from 1-4pm.

Throughout the summer the team is visiting towns and villages across Central Bedfordshire on board the brightly coloured RAVE (Rural Area Vehicle for Education) bus, to offer advice, guidance and information on a wealth of topics relating to social care, health and housing and as well as on recent changes to the benefits system.

There will be professionals on board from different areas including children, young people, families, older people and carers along with housing and community services.

All enquiries will be noted and any queries that staff can’t answer immediately will be sent to staff of the relevant organisation for a direct response.

Councillor Carole Hegley, Executive Member for Social Care and Housing, said: “ Please come on board and find out more for you, a family member, friend or neighbour.”
